Janet Bogota is an inventor whose fiancée, Ellis, died in a devastating car crash and she intends on building a time machine to save her. She goes back to 1267 where she meets the fabled Uklag the Wise and meets him just before he meets The Third Person. She also has a power suit and identity called Pharos. They talk to The Third Person until being interrupted by another narrator, The Other Person. Janet escapes from the conversation into her time machine to travel to 2072 to save Ellis.
