A young girl named Ellie is watching her favorite TV show in peace. Her older brother, Andrew, interrupts her to tell her about his latest invention, a time machine with a remote control. He takes it for a test spin, bringing them both to 15 minutes prior, where Ellie sees herself watching her TV show. An evil witch called the Blue Witch plots to stop the sibling duo by hijacking the time machine via stealing its remote. The kids follow him back in time and catch up to him. When he casts a spell prophesizing their deaths and giving himself superpowers, Andrew steps in to cross the witch's fingers at the last second, foiling his plans and killing the Blue Witch in the process. From this, Andrew receives the power to teleport, and Ellie the ability to use super speed. When they return back from the time machine, they went too far into the future, and Ellie's show was spoiled for her!
