This article discusses in-depth the recently-released Expansion Pack for Nintendo Switch Online. It gives access to a selection of Nintendo 64 games through the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online app (now called the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Classics app), SEGA Genesis games through the SEGA Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online app, and DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is seen as not worth its price due to it being expensive to begin with and having broken features. This was before other things were added to the service like the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, Game Boy Advance games, Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion, GameCube games, Switch 2 upgrade packs and Virtual Boy games.
