The music is a rearrangement of the St. Xavier High School alma mater song, made to sound like it came from Mario Kart 64.
Jesuit Cup refers to St. X being a Jesuit school.
The track being called a raceway and not a circuit is because in Mario Kart 64, circuit-type tracks were called raceways.
