On Halloween, Rory and his friends all dress up. Rory dresses as an Evil Samurai, Rory 2.0 as a Deathbot, Lory as a Pirate Girl, and Mrs. Killer as Elsa. They go trick-or-treating and visit Mr. Killer. They meet Harold, Lory's guinea pig. When they eat the Jolly Ranchers they got from Mr. Killer, the robots turn evil. They use different swords to fight. Lory's pirate ship is atop mountains drilling into them. She breaks off the mountaintop which hurts her and causes her to turn good again. Mrs. Killer uses her sword to send shockwaves, exploding Lory's ship and turning the others good again. She eats candy, turning her evil at the end.

Trivia
This book is Harold's first appearance. With his introduction, the entire main Rory cast has been formed (Rory, The Flytrap, Ms. Owens, Rory 2.0, Mrs. Killer, Lory, Harold). Because the whole cast had now been introduced, this marks the beginning of the Renaissance era of Rory.
