When a girl gets home from school, she uses her flip phone and receives a mysterious call from an unknown number. When she picks up, she hears a deep voice- one which belonged to a creepy figure known as Creppy, an angry emoji plush who controls all stuffed animals and also happens to have it out for this little girl. Creppy haunts her then kills her and leaves, with her father being the one who has to deal with the result.

Trivia
A sequel to this film entitled "The Call 2" was very likely the most rumored canceled film from L.A.B. Productions. It has gone in and out of development from 2018-2020.
A comic named The Call 1 ½: Creppy's Return was released that hyped up a sequel.
Let Ya Knows constantly featured reassurance the sequel was coming.
A hidden page on the L.A.B. Productions- History of Movies presentation had a page for it since launch in the "coming soon" section.
2020 saw the release of Creppy in Love?, a film featuring the titular character from this film as well as others who had been introduced in unconventional means. Its release ended all word on an official sequel to the original that is a true follow-up.
The Call is the first L.A.B. Productions film to feature an original music composition. It is the main theme, and it plays during the L.A.B. Productions intro and opening credits.
This film once premiered at a campsite, where it was shown to extended family members.
This was the third rerelease of the Archival Project, which occurred on March 3rd, 2024.
