Trivia
The concert took place at 11:40 AM during Flex until 12:05 on January 25th, 2024.
There are multiple references to an upcoming Mock Trial event, namely with the "Money doesn't grow in a junkyard" line.
Despite being heavily involved with making the concert happen, Brendan Beluan could not attend the concert itself because he had service.
The Blueprint Office Wii is displaying a slideshow from the photo channel during the event. The photos include two pictures of young Logan Bauer on a pooldeck and tubing respectively, a photo of J.B. Wuxim, an image of Sulley from Monsters, Inc. shocked looking at a Big Mac, three Mario Kart Wii victory images, and a photo of Ryan Sams with his ex-girlfriend.
Francis Chan, who has previously worked on the soundtrack for A Difficult Game, is mentioned at the end for a potential future BlueDesk concert. After being alluded to further in BlueDesk Concert Series II: Matthew Langenderfer and his Good-Natured Keyboard, this finally came to fruition in BlueDesk Concert Series III: Francis Chan and his Divinely-Inspired Piano.
The Blueprint Office was made tidy especially for the concert.
Following the performance of "Ground Theme" from Super Mario Bros., a sound effect of Mario from Super Mario 64 can be heard, which was played by Jake Dougherty.
In the background, certain Blueprint covers can be seen that were made by Logan Bauer, namely Musicfest 2023 Blueprint Cover, Halloween 2023 Blueprint Cover, and All I Want for Christmas is the Blueprint Cover.
The Blueprint article written by Grayson Beckham called BlueDesk Concert Highlights Student Musicians in Volume 31 issue 4 of the Blueprint was based off this event.
The article written by Charles Healy in the same issue also makes reference to the concert, with its title being BlueDesk's Healy: Join Mock Trial!
This BlueDesk is the only true instance of the performer granting a request from a viewer, this being from Jake Dougherty to play music from Super Mario Bros., though it happens offscreen.
