Trivia
This assignment became the first major assignment submitted for the class (a graded one out of 100 points).
The assignment stemmed from excercise 1.2: character and place.
The beginning draft of this work was the first to be written directly in the creative writing notebook (seen in the BTS Gallery). It was begun on August 15th, 2024 and it stayed nearly intact for the final work, of course with much more added to it.
The decision to use blue paper was arbitrary.
The only major differences between the August 23rd and 26th versions is the changed date and double spacing.
This work was submitted as Logan Bauer's first work shown at the first Young Writers' Forum meeting as president.
