• This comic was made as a school assignment. Using Rory was not allowed, so a new character was created: Calvin.

• Calvin would go on to appear in Rory comics and get a few releases of his own as the star role, most notably with Calvin Becomes President.

• Calvin and Mr. Computer would go on to become regulars in Rory comics as news anchors and TV show hosts.

• Calvin's character design comes directly from the number 5. It began from that. Calvin's design is similar to the Ubisoft character Rayman. They were purposely differentiated over the years. A potential design change included a hoodie and detached limbs like Rayman before Logan Bauer realized that the two would share a near-identical design.
