Trivia

• The Breadwinner's distractions toward Agent Baker reference the past three Multimedia and Film releases. 

  • "There's a Max Murderer behind you," references the murderer in Calvary at the Courtyard, the Max Murderer.

  • "There's a Lurker behind you," references the Litter Lurker from The Litter Lurker.

  • "There's a British guy behind you" references Bartholomew, the twist villain from Pickup Line Paradox.

• The Breadwinner is the first and currently only L.A.B. Productions movie to have a DVD release, which came out in January 2023 under LAB Media.

• This is the first L.A.B. Productions film with a direct budget--that being about eight dollars to buy a baguette and some bagels.

• "Free Bird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd was considered to be played over the credits, but the idea was passed over due to copyright worries. Despite these precautions, the film was copyrighted and unable to be watched in Belarus, making this the only L.A.B. Productions film that is illegal to watch (in some part of the world).

• In the Multimedia and Film class, this project was given a 100. Despite this, multiple guidelines were broken such as going over the 5 minute length for a comedy film (if counting the credits) and using copyrighted music. Mr. Ryan is a real one for that.

• Filming for this movie took place almost entirely on December 4th, 2022 in the span of a couple hours. This was also James Oglethorpe's birthday.

• The thumbnail shot, also known as the "W Lighting" shot, was very specifically crafted by James Oglethorpe. When none of the preselected YouTube thumbnails looked very great, it was obvious that the move was to use this shot as the thumbnail.

• The entire script of the film was created the very night the film was assigned. Changes to it were made during the fight in the lair and The Breadwinner's monologue.

• This is the fourth Multimedia and Film release. As the final project of the class, the project was up in the air as to what was able to be done for it. What was decided was the "Comedy," despite also having a lot of action in it as well.

• This film was heavily inspired by a past student project from a prior Multimedia and Film class called Spy Movie (2019), featuring guns, fast pacing, and over-the-top action. 

• The original poster and banner images were originally used for Letterboxd, before the film alongside some others were removed from the site. The films' initial deletion from Letterboxd in early 2023 sparked the creation of the L.A.B. Productions Website.
