Trivia
The film's production stemmed from a realization that Grayson Beckham had not had any major role in a L.A.B. Productions film, only as minor supporting ones. This and the drive to create a more serious piece are what started the production.
The film initially was a psychological drama, with one character inviting the other to the park to inform him that he had killed his buddy. This idea was scrapped in favor of a film with a clearer message.
The names for Brady, Ford and Darren all come from their inherent role in the film's first letter. Brady and brother both start with B, Ford and friend both start with F, and Darren and dead both start with D. This was to help make who's who clearer in production and the final film.
The name Ford comes from Ollie Sheridan's middle name, which is Forde.
The end credits are made to fit within the 4:3 ratio, despite not needing to.
The first readthrough of the film (with just Grayson and Eric) occurred on February 3rd, 2025.
Filming the project occurred on February 22nd, 2025.
Recording the voiceovers used in the flashback scenes occurred on February 27th, 2025.
An entire segment was cut from the film that can still be read in the script, that being a lighthearted discussion before the three go back to the park entrance.
There was also an improv scene recorded that was cut and can be seen in the bloopers.
There was also an idea to have Darren be the only thing in color during the black and white scenes using Adobe After Effects, and while possible, the hardware used to make the film was not powerful enough the handle making it before the due date.
